The demonstration, organised by SEYO Singjamei Wangma Kshetri Leikai, strongly condemned the killing of two children in the Tronglaobi incident and the reported deaths of three civilians in alleged firing by the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-111706\" src=\"https:\/\/jdnewsvision.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/IMG-20260411-WA0195-300x193.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"193\" srcset=\"https:\/\/jdnewsvision.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/IMG-20260411-WA0195-300x193.jpg 300w, https:\/\/jdnewsvision.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/IMG-20260411-WA0195-1024x660.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/jdnewsvision.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/IMG-20260411-WA0195-768x495.jpg 768w, https:\/\/jdnewsvision.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/IMG-20260411-WA0195.jpg 1202w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Protesters also expressed outrage over the recent rape and murder of a minor IDP girl, calling it a heinous crime and demanding immediate justice and stringent action against those responsible. Demonstrators criticised the government for failing to ensure public safety and restore normalcy, stating that the ongoing crisis since May 2023 continues to severely affect civilian life.<\/p>\n<p>In a separate protest, members of the All Kongba Road United Clubs\u2019 Organisation (AKRUCO) and local Meira Paibis staged a sit-in demonstration in Imphal East, condemning both the Tronglaobi attack and the subsequent firing incident. Holding placards and raising slogans, they demanded accountability and urged authorities to take decisive measures to prevent recurrence of such violence.<\/p>\n<p>Adding to the wave of protests, a torch rally was held on Friday evening at Nungbrang, where a large number of women and youths participated. The rally was organised by Nungbrang Apunba Meira Paibi along with local clubs and community groups.<\/p>\n<p>Speakers at the rally voiced strong resentment over the killing of two minors and the injury of their mother in the Tronglaobi incident. Representatives of Meira Paibi groups also raised concerns over the role of central forces, alleging excessive use of force in handling civilians and calling for accountability in such cases.<\/p>\n<p>Across all protest sites, demonstrators raised slogans demanding justice for the victims, improved security measures, and accountability from authorities, reflecting growing public anger over the recent spate of violence.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>J D NEWS VISION&#8230;..
