\nSunita Gandhi, Founder-Director of DEVI Sansthan is doing a tremendous job in taking educational literacy and numeracy to touch
\nthe farthest corners of India and even beyond so that the country may reap a golden harvest of talented youth. She is preparing
\nthem to face the challenges of the present and oncoming centuries by improving the quality of education making it more
\npurposeful, active, transformative and holistic than it was ever before. The new ALfA technique has brought about a complete
\nchange of mindset and created athirst from knowledge in the minds of children as well as adults. Now no child will be left behind
\nand each and every child will get a chance to go to school and get quality education.\u201c These were some of the thoughts expressed
\nby Dr Joseph Emmanuel, Chief Executive and Secretary, Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), New Delhi.
\nDr Emmanuel was speaking as the Chief Guest on Day 2 of the Leadership Circle 5 educational meet held at CMS Kanpur Road
\nAuditorium. The event was organised by Dr Sunita Gandhi, Founder of DEVI Sansthan, a non-profit organisation based in Lucknow,
\nIndia.
\nEarlier, Mr Nixon Joseph, Group Executive, DEVI Sansthan, greeted the audience and welcomed them to the 2nd day of this august
\ngathering of enlightened minds. A video was shown of DEVI journey on the threshold of progress. A live demonstration of ALfA in
\naction in Government School, Sorwa II, BKT Block gave an inside view of the programme and how quickly children learn from this
\nunique teaching pedagogy.
\nMr Pankaj Chaudhary, Hon\u2019ble Minister of State for Finance was an honoured guest at this conference. His dignified presence and
\nwords of wisdom greatly motivated the participants. Mr Alok Ranjan, IAS (Retired), former Chief Secretary. Govt. of U.P., was also
\npresent and was eloquent in his praise of the function as well as the thought behind the organising of this august conference. The gift
\nof literacy if the greatest gift to mankind, he said, is it enriches the teacher and the taught and is the real worship of the Almighty
\nGod.
\nThe AlfA way of teaching children and giving them quality education was demonstrated through various activities like teaching
\nMatras, learning Bengali proceeding from known to unknown, random pairing and writing activity, rhythmic clapping, showcasing
\naccelerated learning for all across India and so on.
\nPanel discussions were held on the themes like: The world\u2019s best investment: Education vs other development priorities, Data to
\ndelivery: How Government Systems can accelerate FLN outcomes; Multiplying Impact: CSR Beyond Cheque Embedding FLN in<\/p>\n
Corporate Giving Strategies. A quiz was conducted on the ALfA system of education and a musical programme on Kaise Sundar ho
\nHamara Gaon.
\nA special Honouring Ceremony was held to acknowledge and give awards to the people who had lent their distinguished services and
\nbrought about revolutionary changes in the field of education and service to mankind.
\nDr Sunita Gandhi, Founder of DEVI Sansthan thanked the distinguished guests, government officials and participants in making the
\nprogramme a success with their cooperation and contribution saying that this was a definite step in expanding educational research
\nand training.
\nDr Bharti Gandhi, Chief Mentor of Leadership 5 organized by DEVI Sansthan congratulated the participants for giving a new direction
