Visakhapatnm : : Summer camp-2023 will be organized by East Coast Railway Sports Association-Waltair, for a period of Two months from 3rd April to 30th May-2023 to inculcate and impart the sporting spirit to the children aging between 5 years to 15 years said Asst. Sports Officer Mr. B. Avinash, East Coast Railway Visakhapatnam in a Face to Face Interview with our Bureau Chief Suraj Prakash Sharma at his chamber.
He has further articulated that a Poster has been released by Sr. Divisional Railway Manager, Mr. Anup Satpathy and the Camp would be organized by East Coast Railway Sports Association Waltair for a period of two months from 3rd April to 30th May, 2023.
Answering to the question in which sports and games the Coaching Camp would be conducted, the Asst.Sports Officer, spoke to our Bureau Chief that the coaching would be organized in athletics, Boxing, Basket Ball, Football, Ball Badminton, Shuttle Badminton, Skating, Swimming, Table Tennis, Tennis and Volley Ball disciplines.
He further elucidated to the questions as to whether the Coaching Camp is only for railway employees’ children, and also what’s the object of the Camp, the camp would be open to all and only Cricket, Swimming and Tennis are have restricted entry as per the norms and also said that the purpose of the Coaching Camp would be to inculcate sporting spirit to the children and to create an impulse towards the sports and also to engage them in a conducive atmosphere after a long academic engagement. He has also informed that Inaugural Ceremony was held on Monday by the President, East Coast RSA and Sr. Divisional Railway Manager Mr Anup Satpathy and the Ceremony was witnessed by ADRM (Operations) Mr. Manoj Kumar Sahoo, Sports Officer, Mr. Praveen Bhati, General Secretary Mr. Reddy Srinivas, self and other officers.
