Lucknow 19 June : : Creating an opportunity to encourage and boost teachers about Enriching the Academic content, sharpen teaching pedagogy and develope professional skills Amity Law School, Amity University Lucknow Campus inaugurated a 7 days National Faculty Development Program (FDP) on “Accentuating the Importance of the Amalgamation of Related Disciplines in the Domain of Law” today.
Chief Guest Prof. (Dr.) S. Shanthakumar, Director, Gujarat National Law University, Gujarat, India, Keynote Speaker Prof. (Dr.) Priti Saxena, Director, Centre of Post Graduate Legal Studies, Dept. of Human Rights, BBAU, Lucknow, Deputy Pro VC Amity University Lucknow Wg. Cdr. (Dr.) Anil Kumar, Dean Academics, Amity University, Lucknow Prof. (Dr.) Rajesh K. Tiwari and Director Amity Law School Dr. JP Yadav inaugurated the FDP by lighting the lamp.
Welcoming the Guests Dr. JP Yadav said that this is the fifth National FDP program. This FDP is designed to keep the participating faculty members with update with current topics related with Legal domain.
Addressing the session Prof Rajesh K Tiwari said that topic of the FDP is very important exploring the Human Values with upscaling the faculty is a steppingstone to the bright Future.
Deputy Pro Vc Dr. Anil K Tiwari said that every small thing you do is shows your interest ant initiatives. Once you start on the right note, the world will be going to change. He said that Artificial Intelligence and machine learning is the future, but we have to know it with the law. It should be discussed how the law will fix issues related to AI.
Chief Guest Prof S. Shanta Kumar said that Law should not be studied as isolate subject, it should always accompany with other subjects. Prof Santakumar Said that if you want to study Amalgamation in the Domain of Law, think about current issues too.
More than 250 participants from across the nation are participating in this Program. The program is organizing in online and offline both medium.
All the HoI and HoD along with the faculty members were present at this inaugural session.
