Imphal, April 2, : : The Department of Horticulture & Soil Conservation, Government of Manipur, organised a programme to distribute summer vegetable seeds and other essential inputs to progressive farmers under the Mission for Integrated Development of Horticulture (MIDH) scheme.
The event was attended by Commissioner-cum-Secretary, Horticulture & Soil Conservation, Shri Thaithuilung Pamei, IAS, as the Chief Guest, and Director, Horticulture & Soil Conservation, Shri K. Debadutta Sharma, as the President.
The Director highlighted the importance of geotagging and geo-mapping of beneficiaries through Krishi Mapper Portal, as per the latest guidelines issued by the Ministry under MIDH. The Chief Guest emphasized the need for adopting modern technologies to ensure transparency and proper selection of beneficiaries.

Summer vegetable seeds and other inputs were distributed to selected progressive farmers in the presence of dignitaries and officials. The programme aimed to support genuine farmers and promote horticulture development in the state.
The event concluded with a call to District Level Officers to ensure effective and transparent implementation of the schemes at the grassroots level.
